A great gaming pc is computer built with highend parts, usually consisting of the latest technology, designed specifically to handle the heat and stresses of computer gaming. Gaming pushes the computer to perform at its best and the more sophisticated the game, the more performance is demanded of the computer system. A great gaming pc should have at least one dedicated,high end graphics card (some times two or three) designed to get the most performance outof single player or multiplayer games, not an on-board video chip that takes away systemRAM. A great gaming pc should have plenty ofsystem RAM to run the games, a large hard drive for storage and a fast CPU. A large powersupply is also a must to run all those internals and peripherals.
Of course cooling is essential in a performancepc, which is why a great gaming computeruses specially designed heat sinks in stead of the ones the cpu manufacturers provide withtheir processors. Most of these are larger with heat pipes and fins and specially designedfans. System fans and air flow over the memory and graphics cards are also important forgreat performance.
