A Beginners Guide to Cartoon Animations and 3D Animations

cartoon movies

Almost everyone enjoys cartoons of some type whether it is in the newspaper or on television. They are so popular that you will often see cartoon characters in a variety of advertisements. Saturday mornings used to be famous for cartoons. In today’s age they have somewhat been replaced with video games, but then even those characters are animated. In addition, the majority of animated box office hits are now all in 3D animation.

You may be intrigued enough by animation that you want to know more about it. It has its complexities and it is by no means an easy job. To put it in easy terms, it is a group of drawings that an artist has designed and then they are put into frames, which are then imaged very quickly to denote movement. It should be remembered though that animation is not just restricted to cartoons.

There are many fazes to producing a great cartoon.

First, the idea has to be borne. An artist or cartoonist is this case will dream up a character then draw it. Then it goes to the computer for animation. The animator will use various software to take the character through various stages, which will bring it to life, and then it must go through processes where it can be produced and put out to the viewer.

Interesting Characters in Cartoon Pocket Watches

cartoon movies

Pocket watches have been in the market for long. Older models that have been there since the seventeenth century are called as antique pocket watches. These have always been in fashion when it comes to wearing formals and goes well with waistcoats as well. Originally they have always been a gentleman’s thing to carry until Ingresoll came up with cartoon character pocket watches for children as well. Disney was quick to follow this new product as well and soon came out next generation pocket watches. The use of pocket watches have especially been noted in the comic movie Alice in the Wonderland where something like this was introduced to the children for the first time.

The most famous character used was that of Mickey Mouse but that followed by other characters like Popeye, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Jimney Cricket, Betty Boop, Superman, Porky Pig and many more as well.

A typical Mickey Mouse Pocket watch would simply look like normal pocket watch, only that they would also have Mickey Mouse picture inside the watch. Typically the Mickey Mouse hands would be used to point out time with the white gloves working as the pointers. These generally work as excellent gift items when purchased new. There are many online portals from where one can easily order these which can be used personally or even be used as a Christmas or New Year gift for kids.

Drawing A Head In Cartoons For Beginners – Pro Tip Revealed

cartoon movies

Measuring “heads” is an important principle used to keep the height of your characters consistent, especially in “group shots” and environments like a city street or hallway. It is different from measuring in feet or inches, or meters and centimeters, you take the rough size of the head and use that to roughly size out the torso, hips, and legs.

It’s much faster and easier for the comic artist to do than whipping out rulers and T-squares. Those are handy, but not now.

A Simple Measurement

Your average human is about 8 heads high, and it breaks down like this:

1 is the head, obviously.

2 is the torso, the chest and the waist.

1 is the hips.

2 is the upper legs, from thigh to knee.

2 for the lower legs and feet.

1 + 2 +1 + 2 +2 = 8

Breaking The Rule

Because these are cartoon figures, the head measurements can be exaggerated.

A super tall character can be 9 or 10 heads high, stretching the torso or the legs. Kids and other cute characters are 3 heads high, with 1 head for the torso and 1 for the legs (hip to knee).

Can you have a character that falls somewhere between 8 and 3 heads high? Sure! Oddly enough, a big, brute, tough guy and a skinny teenager can use the same head measurement: 6 heads.

Top 5 Cartoon Characters with Fashion Glasses

cartoon movies

I’ve written a lot of posts about fashion sunglasses or fashion glasses worn by celebrities, but so far have touched upon subjects from few other perspectives. Since I am a cartoon fan, today, I will try to list some famous cartoon characters with glasses, and give a simple analysis of their personality. Most of these cartoon characters glasses are good examples for us to refer to in terms of fashion glasses.

1. Conan Edogawa (Case Closed, known as Meitantei Conan)

Without doubt, the first cartoon character with glasses should be Conan Edogawa. Case Closed, known as Meitantei Conan is definitely one of the most influential cartoons all across the world. The image of the main character Conan Edogawa has been engraved in our mind.

His usual outfit mainly consists of a blue suit jacket with a single button and a pair of shorts, paired with a red bowtie and his dad’s old glasses. Conan’s glasses have multiple functions, for example, for disguising his identity as Jimmy Kudo, and for tracking position. For the popularity of the cartoon, lots of fans are eager to get such fashion glasses.

2. Nobita Nobi (Doraemon)

Doraemon is also well liked by kids. The two main characters are the robotic cat Doraemon and Nobita Nobi. Being generous and kind, Doraemon always helps Nobita in difficulty. Thus, lots of interesting stories happen between them, which have brought much fun to us. Nobita, who is lazy and timid and likes to read cartoons and watch TV, wears a pair of large round glasses, which looks so cute.
