Well this year, it has been something of a cook-off amongst the must see movies of 2010. So we thought of compiling our list of best comedy movies of 2010; and here they are.

The Other Guys
Here’s a movie worth watching. Starring Samuel L. Jackson and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. They are unappreciated cops who get to do all the ‘dirty’ work. The plot of the movie is smart, it’s hilarious, and filled with satire. I don’t mind adding The Other Guys in the list of best comedy movies of all time.

Knight and Day
First things first, how hot do Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz look together? I wonder why weren’t they ever paired opposite one another. Oh well, better late then never. I don’t know what the reviews may say about this being the comeback movie for Tom Cruise and all, but I loved it. There’s a lot of action and a lot of heat; what else can we ask for?

Shrek 4: Forever After
We begin our movie review with this popular animated movie, Shrek 4. This is the 4th sequel of the entire series. Although some may disagree with placing Shrek in the countdown of best comedy movies of 2010, I like the fact that it made an effort for a comeback. It’s nowhere near like the 1st part, but it certainly makes a heck of a watch.

Despicable Me
Now if you didn’t like my pick for top comedy movies 2010 in animations, then perhaps you’ll agree with me on selecting Despicable Me. One of the best animated movies this year, the story follows our villain ‘Gru’ and how he soon becomes the most loved character in the movie.

Date Night
I just love Steve Carell. And you know that any movie that has a genius comedian like him has to be excellent. Plus, who can forget former Saturday Night Live cast member Tina Fey. Their combination in this hilariously awesome movie makes Date Night one of the best comedy movies 2010. Don’t miss this one.

Toy Story 3
Andy is 17 now and very close to leaving for college. He doesn’t play with this old toys and they are rotting away in his toy chest. Toy Story 3 brings back the magic of Woody and Buzz Lightyear with a bit of a twist. I’m really not going to reveal the story for those who still haven’t seen this movie. So, what are you waiting for? Rent the DVD today.

Dinner for Schmucks
We’re back with Steve Carell and this time, giving him company is Paul Rudd. The movie gives good laughs, amazing acting skills from both the actors, and is a good comedy movie. Dinner for Schmucks is a comedy feast and the food is quite acceptable.

Valentine’s Day
One of the top romantic comedy movies 2010 with a huge star cast, we give you Valentine’s Day. The cast is not just massive, but impressive as well. We have Kathy Bates, Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Julia Roberts, Patrick Dempsey, Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor Lautner, Jessica Alba, Taylor Swift, Shirley MacLaine, George Lopez, Eric Dane, and many more. The plot has many intricacies and keeps audience on the edge of their seats.

Going the Distance
Long distance relationships can suck, but it’s fun to watch when there’s someone else involved. How about the sexy Drew Barrymore and the gorgeous, deep-voiced Justin Long? Watch how they deal with issues like a real-life couple. You could call it a chick-flick; so guys beware.

The story is about finding true love in someone you never knew existed. It’s all about luck, meeting a stranger, and falling in love.
